3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS TREK IN MAE TEANG
Blessed with verdant mountain ranges, spectacular waterfalls and diverse communities of ethnic hill tribes, Mae Taeng is the ideal place to embark on a trekking expedition. This three-day trek takes you off the beaten path and into the depth of Mae Taeng wilderness, where you will have an opportunity to stay at different hill-tribe villages, namely Shan, Karen, Lahu, and learn about the tribe’s traditional culture and way of life. You will trek through the jungles on foot, as well as on the back of an elephant, then float down the river on a bamboo raft. Beginners may find this tour a little rough at times, while advanced trekkers will feel right at home.
DAY 1: CHIANG MAI - WATERFALL - KAREN HILLTRIBE VILLAGE
Depart from hotel by truck, on the way stop at the Mae Malai local market. See, get in touch with local peoples see trades sale their goods, foods, vegetables, fruits and flowers.
Next stop at the waterfall where lunch will be provided after swim in the fresh water.
Drive along the winding road to Huay Nam Dung National Park.
Arrive Shan village, Begin the trek through the jungle for 1.5 -2 hours to Karen Hilltirbe village

Dinner and overnight at Karen Hilltirbe village Baan Mae Jok.
ACTIVITIES ON THE FIRST DAY :
Along the natural trail, a tour guide will always leads and instruct how to walk in the jungle
trail as well as shows the group various kinds of trees and vegetations seen during the trek.
DAY 2: KAREN HILLTRIBE VILLAGE - ELEPHANT RIDE - KAREN HILLTRIBE VILLAGE
First breakfast among the cloud around you.
Arrive the elephant camp you will relax while the mahout going to get the elephant in the forest and preparing the comfortable chair for you. The guide will shows his experience cooked, then enjoy with good meals.
Enjoy riding on the elephant through the forest for 1-1.5 hours.
Arrive at Karen hill tribe village ( Bann Pa Khaolam ) Dinner and overnight the Karen hill tirbe village.
